David Anderson lives with his wife Cindy in Bricktown N.J. He talks to Gary and Richie often, but not every week.

Most communication between band members is done by email nowadays.

Al Spero lives in Howell N.J. None of the band is in contact with him, although Gary claims to think fondly of him occasionally.

Al has contacted Gary and is still playing music in Jersey.

Jack Cortes lives in Wallingford Conn. He comes down to Jersey for funerals and baptisms. He claims to bear no grudge against the clams for their disloyalty.

Meriden Ct.

John Fernandez lives in Point Pleasant N.J. Gary runs into him once and awhile.

Jim Beringer's whereabouts are not known to the band

Jimmy has talked to Richie and Gary.

Mike Graf lives in Manchester N.J. Richie sees him sometimes in Atlantic City. Gary says he has an open invite to come play bass.

Larry Mandel is a successful lawyer in Freehold N.J. Gary last spoke with him, jokenly, about sueing the smithereens.

Phil Attardo lives in Toms River N.J. He sometimes runs into Gary at home depot. He still plays, Gary heard a cd of his fusion type band, and says it was good.

Ken Widis lives somewhere in North Carolina. Gary says he misses his old roommate and partner. Recently Kenny has appeared in the world via email (amazing things these computers!)

Kenny has released a solo cd

Brian Buckelew is a successful executive in Monmouth and Ocean counties in N.J. He sometimes stops by Charlie Levinson's office to speak to Gary. He is in touch with Richie weekly if not daily.

Mario Cicerello lives in Bricktown N.J. He speaks to Gary almost every day. They have a thirty-five year unbroken friendship, something that is rare in the modern world.

Long Branch, actually.

People tell Gary that they know where Terri Thatcher is, but there has been no word from her.

Hilly Kristal still runs CBGB in New York. Richie and Evelyn recently attended his seventy-first birthday party. If you go to CBGB and you see Hilly, tell him the Clams say "Hi!"

Both Hilly and CBGB have passed into history...

Bob Haddad lives in Clark N.J. He and Gary with their families get together three or four times a year.

Damian Cordisco, Gary's producing partner (and sometimes drummer) on "my true story" and "the story of my life", is somewhere in New Jersey. He just opened up a new studio somewhere. If the boys ever write anything new ("oldest living punk band"?) they'll probably record it there.

They did attempt to record some of OLPB there; but it became impossible to get the band all in once place at one time. Eventually most of OLPB would be done at Gary's studio.

Richard Gelbstein lives in Toms River N.J.with his wife of forever, Evelyn. He has spoken to Hilly about Playing CBGB in August of '02, marking their fourth decade as a CBGB band. The rest of the guys are in, but Hilly says they may have to audition first.

It was in August; and they didn't have to audition, but four years did pass and they were a few clams short.

Gary Applegate lives in Toms River N.J. with his wife Joanne. He lives less than a half a mile from Richie. He has been lately writing finger-picking arrangements for old scottish folk songs. I may post his "loch lomond" here one day.

Maybe I'll see you in the east village this August!

yeah... if this was still 2006!
